InSTREAM-Gen:

InSTREAM-Gen is a spatially explicit eco-genetic individual-based model, implemented in the freely available software platform NetLogo version 5.0.4. The ecological structure of the model builds on the individual-based Stream Trout Research and Assessment Model (inSTREAM). It was developed to understand how environmental conditions and anthropogenic disturbances drive demography and life-history strategies of stream-dwelling trout populations. Therefore, it is particularly suited to simulate the eco-evolutionary consequences of river management decisions under an environmental change context.

The model was presented in Ayllón et al. (2016) and has been applied to predict the eco-evolutionary consequences of climate and land use change (Ayllón et al. 2019a), recreational fishing (Ayllón et al. 2018; Ayllón et al. 2019b) and the interaction of the three stressors (Ayllón et al. 2021) on Mediterranean brown trout populations. A TRACE document providing a description of the model and its design, implementation, testing, analysis, verification and validation is provided here. The model and files required to run it can be downloaded from my GitHub repository:
